This year our church approached us about our family portraying Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus on the stage during the Christmas Eve service. After a little hesitation we agreed to do it. It didnt' really involve any acting, basically we just had to sit there and keep Joshua under control while looking as authentic as we could manage, which was a little tricky while using the pacifier! But it all went very smoothly and we were so glad we did it. I also held him while singing a solo called "Joseph's Song" which was a very pretty song and it was a moving experience in itself.
We were also so excited to have so many friends and family be there to see us. My parents were there with our good friends Bud & Helen, and Amy had her dad, step-dad and her grandma there, as well as her Aunt Cindy and her family. So it was quite a crew and we were so happy to have them there.
